The FSAI announced the recall of a batch of Bosna ready-to-eat smoked roast beef due to the presence of Listeria monocytogenes.The recalled product is:
- Bosna Ready-to-eat Smoked Roast Beef / Bosna Suho Meso Zarebnica Geräuchertes Roastbeef Delikatess, 400g, Best before date: 03.11.2021, Country of origin Poland.
Retailers are requested to remove the implicated batch from sale and to display a point-of-sale recall notice in stores where the affected batch was sold. Consumers are advised not to eat the implicated batch.
In case you are experiencing listeria monocytogenes symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance.
