Carley's Inc. has initiated a voluntary recall of its Soft Baked Iced Lemon Cookies due to a labeling error. The product, distributed to wholesalers in multiple states, including IL, MI, IA, LA, MD, PA, VA, MN, AL, TX, GA, SC, NY, NC, WV. Is being recalled because it incorrectly lists an artificial yellow color instead of FD&C Yellow #5.

The recalled product is:
- Carley's Soft Baked Iced Lemon Cookies
- Packaged in a 5.34oz plastic tray
- With a clear film overwrap.
- 12 units per case.
- The UPC code is 7 40235 50011 0
- A total of 5,826 cases are involved in the recall.
- Exp Date-Lot Code: 01726-040225 11245-012825 031026-051425 061925-082324 080525-100924 081725-102124 091025-111424 061925-082324 112425-012825

The issue was discovered during a routine label review, leading to the recall being classified as Class II. The recall was initiated on June 6, 2025, and classified on June 25, 2025.
