Quebec City, July 30, 2024 - The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ), in collaboration with Cassis et Mélisse, has issued a food recall for Tire-Lune cheese due to potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The product that is the subject of this warning was offered for sale only at Cassis et Mélisse, located at 212, rang de la Pointe-Lévis, in Saint-Damien-de-Buckland in Canada.The recalled product is:
- The Tire-Lune cheese (Fromage Tire-Lune)
- Sold in variable sizes.
- All lots sold until July 10, 2024, are included in the recall.
- The cheese was vacuum-packed in clear plastic wrap and sold refrigerated.
People who have this product in their possession are advised not to consume it. They must return it to the establishment where they purchased it.
