Daebok Foods Co. Limited has issued a recall for its Daebok Rice Cake brand Korean Sundae due to a lack of required food safety controls. The product was sold at ethnic grocery stores throughout the Auckland region in New Zealand and was not exported.ETHNIC GROCERY STORES:

AFFECTED PRODUCT:
- Daebok Rice Cake - Korean Sundae
- Packaged in 290 g plastic packaging.
- It is identified by 'Lot Number' 23012026
- A 'Use By' date of 27022026.
- The recall does not affect other Daebok Rice Cake brand products.
The recall was published on February 4, 2026.
