Deli Samira Barley Bread recalled due to presence of soy

Quebec's Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ), in collaboration with the Food Inspection Division of the City of Montreal and Deli Samira, has issued a recall for Deli Samira's barley bread due to undeclared soy. The bread was distributed in Montreal, Laval, and Montérégie. The recall was initiated after it was discovered that the product contained soy, an allergen not declared on the label. As of now, no allergic reactions related to the consumption of this product have been reported.The recalled product is Deli Samira's Barley Bread, sold in transparent plastic bags of 450g. All batches not labelled as containing soybean. The bread is identified by its UPC code and a best before date. The exact quantity of recalled products has not been disclosed.
Do not consume recalled products to which you are allergic or sensitive as they may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction; and do not serve, use, sell or distribute recalled products. You must return it to the establishment where you purchased it.
