The CFIA announced the recall of Dufflet brand Plant-Based Chocolate Cake by Dufflet Pastries because it contains egg which is not declared on the label. There has been one reported reaction associated with the consumption of this product.The recalled product is:
- Dufflet Plant-based Chocolate Cake (550 g), UPC: 6 24122 00700 8, Code: 131121
If you have an allergy to eggs do not eat it, it may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction. Please throw it away or returned it to the place of purchase.
This product was distributed nationwide in Canada.
