Dunnes Stores has issued a recall for several of its spice products due to the presence of an undeclared allergen, peanut. The affected products have been distributed nationwide.
The recalled products are:
- Product: Dunnes Stores Mild Curry Powder, Pack size: 36g, Batch codes: L24255776; L24254776, Best before date: End April 2026.
- Product: Dunnes Stores Cajun Seasoning, Pack size: 35g, Batch codes: L24101723; L24114723; L24152762; L24155762; L24169762; L24200762; L24233856; L24243856; L24262856; L24263856; L24264856; L24274856; L24212765., Best before date: End Feb 2026, End May 2026, End July 2026, and End Jun 2026.
- Product: Dunnes Stores Medium Madras Curry Powder, Pack size: 36g, Batch codes: L24222741; L24225741; L24254741, Best before date: End May 2026.
- Product: Dunnes Stores Hot Curry Powder, Pack size: 36g, Batch codes: L24254819, Best before date: End April 2026.
This could pose a risk to consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of peanuts.
