Inter NATURA, has issued a recall for its frozen chicken wings due to potential Salmonella contamination. The product was distributed in Guadeloupe. The Salmonella contamination was discovered during routine testing. Salmonella can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.The recalled product is the:
- Inter NATURA frozen chicken wings, class A
- GTIN of 5903424690244.
- The product is sold in a film-wrapped tray and is meant to be stored in the freezer.
- The specific batch being recalled is Lot 850
- Best before date of 27/09/2024.
- The product was sold between 17/05/2023 and 16/10/2023.
If you have this product at home, do not consume it and return it to the store where it was purchased.
