Genova, Trader Joe's, HEB and Van Camp's brand Tuna recalled due to Clostridium Botulinum

Chicken of the Sea is recalling Genova, Trader Joe's, HEB, and Van Camp's brand Tuna have been recalled due to potential contamination with Clostridium Botulinum. The product was distributed nationwide. The recall was initiated by the firm voluntarily after discovering that the product's easy-pull lid was not secured properly, which could lead to adulteration with the hazard of clostridium botulinum. The recall was initiated on February 4, 2025, and classified as Class II on March 11, 2025.

The total number of recalled cases is 14,147.
