Update January 10th, 2025:Walmart informed Fox News Digital that 242 stores across nine states were affected. In addition to the states mentioned, Georgia, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas were also impacted.

December 11th, 2024:
Tree House Foods Inc. has voluntarily initiated a recall of its Great Value Chicken Broth due to potential packaging failures that could compromise the product's sterility, leading to spoilage. The product was distributed to one direct consignee across two locations in Alabama and Arkansas. The recall is ongoing as the firm continues to work on rectifying the problem.
The recalled product is:
- The Great Value brand Chicken Broth
- Packaged in 48 oz. aseptic paper cartons
- With six retail units per case and 120 cases per pallet.
- The batch code is 98F09234
- The retail unit UPC is 007874206684.
- The best-before date is March 25, 2026.
- A total of 2,023 cases have been recalled.
Consumers are advised not to consume the product and to return them to where they purchased it.
