Great Value Hawaiian Roll recalled due to a Substance found on the Packaging

United States Bakery has initiated a voluntary recall of Great Value Hawaiian Roll 4-packs due to an oily and sticky substance found on the packaging. The affected products were distributed across multiple states in the United States (AL, AR, AZ, CA, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, ME, MN, MO, MS, NC, NE, NM, NY, OH, OK, PA, SC, TX, UT, VA, WI, and WY.) The product was not sold in stores or available for consumer purchase. All affected products remained at wholesale distribution centers and have been accounted for.

The issue was discovered by the firm during routine checks. The recall, classified as Class II, was initiated on May 15, 2026, and classified on June 16, 2026.
