Little Island Limited has issued a recall for its Little Island brand Hokey Pokey Coconut Ice Cream due to the detection of an undeclared allergen, milk. The product is distributed in selected retailers and supermarkets across New Zealand. The issue was discovered during routine product testing. The company has confirmed that the products have not been exported.Affected Product:
- Brand: Little Island
- Product: Hokey Pokey Coconut Ice Cream
- Size: 145ml (plastic pottle) and 900ml (cardboard tub)
- Batch Code: HPB0317
- Best Before: 12/03/2027
- Distribution: Sold in selected retailers and supermarkets throughout New Zealand. Not exported.
Customers are asked to check the batch and date marking on the products. People with a milk allergy or intolerance should not consume these products. Customers with a milk allergy or intolerance should return the products to their retailer for a full refund.
