January 5th, 2026:
MAYEJ COMERCIALIZADORA S. de R.L. de C.V. is recalling Italian parsley due to potential contamination with Cyclospora cayetanensis. The product was distributed nationwide in the United States. The recall is ongoing and was initiated voluntarily by the firm.
AFFECTED PRODUCTS:
PRODUCT: Italian Parsley
- Size: 24 lb boxes (40 bunches per box)
- Packaging: Plastic-wrapped bunches inside boxes
- Codes:
Factura 154 – 75530: 1434328, 1434330, 1434330, 1434331, 1434332, 1434333, 1434334
Factura 168 – 75613: 1436064, 1436065, 1436066, 1436067, 1436068, 1436069, 1436070, 1436071
Factura 177 – 75700: 1437701, 1437702, 1437703, 1437704, 1437705, 1437706, 1437707, 1737708
- Product Quantity: 1,288 boxes
The issue was discovered during routine testing. The recall was initiated on September 26, 2025, and is currently not classified.

great, i literally JUST ate some that we bought yesterday... how am i supposed to know if its in one of these "boxes" ? bunches just have standard twist tie with no numbers like those... great.

The best next step is to contact the store where you bought it and ask if their parsley supplier was affected by this recall.
