KETTLE RIVER Chicken Alfredo Pizza - recalled due to undeclared wheat

4 years ago source fsis.usda.gov

United States

The FSIS announced the recall of approximately 1,464 pounds of chicken alfredo pizza by Kettle River Products due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen. The product contains wheat, which is not declared on the product label. This product was shipped to retail and restaurant locations, as well as fundraiser programs in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

The recalled product is:
- 12-inch, 25-oz. plastic-wrapped “KETTLE RIVER Chicken Alfredo Pizza” with lot codes “21343, 21349, 21362 or 22011” stamped on the bottom of the product packaging.

This product was produced on various dates between Dec. 9, 2021 through Jan. 3, 2022. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.

FSIS is concerned that some products may be in consumers’ freezers. If you have an allergy to wheat do not eat it, it may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction. Please throw it away or return it to the place of purchase.

In case you are experience harm from allergens or undeclared ingredients, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve issues and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance.
