Kiki Seed Cracker Mix is recalling its Sea Salt and Chilli Cumin varieties due to potential Salmonella contamination. The products, containing sesame seeds sourced from Davis Trading Company Ltd, are sold in select stores across New Zealand (list below).

The recalled products are Kiki brand Seed Cracker Mix Sea Salt and Kiki brand Seed Cracker Mix Chilli Cumin, both in 300g sizes. The affected batch has a best before date of 22 March 2025. The UPC codes for the products have not been provided. The product is sold at the following stores:

- Farro Fresh – Mt Eden, Auckland
- Farro Fresh – Mt Wellington, Auckland
- Farro Fresh – Orakei, Auckland
- Fresh On Kendal – Christchurch
- Housekeepers Design – Oamaru
- Moore Wilson's, Corner of Tory Street & College Street, Wellington
- Moutere Gold – Nelson
- Noire Stillwater – Auckland
- Sequoia Finewares – Cromwell
- Seriously Pickled – Paraparaumu

The issue was discovered during routine testing. Customers are asked to check the date mark on the back of the packaging. Affected products should not be consumed and customers should return the product to their retailer for a full refund.
