Wilson Consumer Products Ltd has issued a recall for specific batches of its King brand Traditional Soup Mix Gluten Free Vegetable due to the potential presence of an undeclared allergen, gluten. The soup mix is sold in a plastic package and is distributed at supermarkets across New Zealand.

The affected product is King brand Traditional Soup Mix Gluten Free Vegetable (210g), Batch: 3178 – Best Before: 27 Dec 2024, Batch: 3180 – Best Before: 29 Dec 2024, Batch: 3184 – Best Before: 04 Jan 2025, Batch: 3186 – Best Before: 05 Jan 2025, Batch: 4045 – Best Before: 14 Aug 2025, Batch: 4047 – Best Before: 16 Aug 2025, Batch: 4051 – Best Before: 20 Aug 2025, Batch: 4053 – Best Before: 22 Aug 2025. The product has not been exported.

Customers are advised to check the batch and date mark on the back of the package. Those with a gluten allergy or intolerance are warned not to consume the product. If consumed and health concerns arise, medical advice should be sought.
