Costco Wholesale New Zealand Limited is recalling specific batches of its Kirkland Signature Marinated Beef Bulgogi due to potential Salmonella contamination. The product contains sesame seeds sourced from Davis Trading Company Ltd.The recalled product is Kirkland Signature Marinated Beef Bulgogi of various weights. The product is marinated beef, packed in store, and sold in plastic packages of variable weights. The affected batches bear the best before dates of 19.07.24, 20.07.24, and 21.07.24. The product is sold at Costco Wholesale Westgate and has not been exported. This recall does not affect any other Kirkland Signature brand products.
The potential Salmonella contamination was discovered during routine testing. Consumers are advised not to consume the product and return it to their retailer for a full refund.
