Le Porc-Épique, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ), has issued a recall for pistachio rabbit terrines and pistachio-anise sausages due to potential Salmonella contamination. These products were sold in various establishments across Quebec.

AFFECTED PRODUCT:

PRODUCT: "RABBIT AND PISTACHIO TERRINE"

- Lot Targeted: Best before 4 SE 2025 / Best before 02 OC 2025

PRODUCT: "RABBIT AND PISTACHIO TERRINE"
- Format: Variable
- Lot Targeted: Units sold between the July 31, 2025 and the October 2, 2025

PRODUCT: "PISTACHIO-ANISE" (SAUSAGE)
- Format: 90 g
- Lot Targeted: Lot: 25-32 / Best before 04 MA 2026

The recall was initiated as a precautionary measure following a national Salmonella outbreak linked to contaminated pistachios imported from Iran. The recall is classified as Class I, indicating a high health risk.
