Lean Ground Turkey with Natural Flavourings recalled due to Pieces of Plastic

Exceldor Cooperative has issued a recall for Readyfoods brand Lean Ground Turkey with Natural Flavourings due to the presence of plastic pieces. The product was distributed to hotels, restaurants, and institutions in Alberta, Newfoundland and Labrador, Ontario, Quebec, and Saskatchewan.

The recalled product:
- Is packaged in 2 x 2.5 kg sizes
- With a UPC code of 10065822414821
- A lot code of 41482; 2026 06 19.
- The recall affects a specific batch of this frozen meat and poultry product.

The issue was identified on November 14, 2025, and classified as a Class 3 recall by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
