Kalispell, 59901 Montana, United States

Lower Valley Processing in Kalispell, Montana has voluntarily recalled has recalled all raw, non-intact meat products, such as ground meat, from animals slaughtered on June 5, 2024, as announced by the Montana Department of Livestock in. The recall is due to potential contamination with E. coli O157.

The recalled products include:
- Ground meat produced from animals slaughtered on June 5, 2024.
- The products were labeled with “Lower Valley Processing, Co.”
- Establishment number “EST. 007”
- Lot numbers 1398, 1399, and 1400.
- The source of the E. coli contamination has not been identified.

If you have this product at home, do not consume it and return it to the store where it was purchased.

In case you are experiencing E. coli symptoms such as watery diarrhea (often bloody), vomiting; stomach cramps; and mild fever, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
