Pams Simmer Sauces recalled due to a Packaging Fault that may Cause Injury

Foodstuffs Own Brands Limited has expanded its recall of Pams brand Simmer Sauces to include additional affected batches due to the same packaging fault involving damaged glass jars that may cause injury.

- Best Before 09/03/2027

PRODUCT: Pams Sweet & Sour Simmer Sauce (510g):
- Best Before 09/02/2027
- Best Before 06/03/2027
- Best Before 24/03/2027
- Best Before 08/05/2027

PRODUCT: Pams Tikka Masala Simmer Sauce (510g)
- Best Before 05/02/2027
- Best Before 13/03/2027

PRODUCT: Pams Honey Soy Simmer Sauce (510g)
- Best Before 17/02/2027
- Best Before 26/03/2027

Consumers are advised to carefully check the best-before dates on purchased products, not consume affected products, and return them to the retailer for a full refund. The products were sold at Four Square, New World, and Pak'nSave supermarkets throughout New Zealand.

Foodstuffs Own Brands Limited has issued a recall for Pams brand Simmer Sauces due to a packaging fault that may cause injury. The affected products, packaged in glass jars, were sold at Four Square, New World, and Pak'nSave supermarkets across New Zealand.

The products have not been exported outside New Zealand.

The recall was announced on June 12, 2026, after the packaging fault was discovered.
