Recall notice

Raw pastry and dough products - recalled due to Salmonella

4 years ago source fsai.ie

Ireland

The FSAI announced the recall of specific batches of various raw pastry and dough products by BakeAway due to the presence of Salmonella. The recalled products have been distributed nationwide in Ireland.

Consumers are advised not to use the implicated batches. Retailers are requested to remove the implicated batches from sale and inform their customers by a prominent point-of-sale recall notice in stores where the affected batches were sold and by any other suitable communication routes.

Wholesalers/distributors are requested to contact their affected customers to recall the implicated batches and provide a point-of-sale recall notice to their retailer customers. You can check the list of recalled products in the image attached.

In case you are experiencing Salmonella symptoms such as diarrhea, abdominal cramps, and fever, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance.
