Ready-To-Eat Meat Pie Products recalled due to Lack of Import Reinspection

Fijian Import & Export Co. Inc., based in Hayward, California, is recalling approximately 127 pounds of ready-to-eat meat pie products imported from Australia around May 1st. The recall is due to the products not being presented for import reinspection by the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) upon entry into the United States. These items were distributed to Rutter's convenience store locations in Pennsylvania. The issue was identified during routine FSIS surveillance activities of imported products. The FSIS determined that the products had not been presented for import reinspection.The products in question are:
- Product: FOUR 'N TWENTY TRAVELLER PHILLY CHEESESTEAK PASTRY
- Package Size: 5.6 oz
- Use By Date: AUG 20 2025
- Establishment Number: 265 (Australia)
- Marking Location: Inside the Australia inspection mark on the back of the plastic packaging
- Products should be refrigerated.
Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be returned to the place of purchase.
