October 16th, 2025:
Publix has issued a voluntary recall of one lot of Publix Rich & Creamy Vanilla Ice Cream due to an undeclared egg allergen. The affected product was distributed to stores in Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Florida in the United States, excluding Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Tampa, and Sarasota. Publix locations in Virginia and North Carolina are not impacted by this voluntary recall.
AFFECTED PRODUCT:
- Publix Rich & Creamy Vanilla Ice Cream
- Half-gallon containers
- With a sell-by date of June 19, 2026 A
- And UPC 41415 03043.
- The issue arises from a packaging error where the product may contain Publix Rich & Creamy French Vanilla Ice Cream with a mismatched lid.
- The quantity recalled has not been specified.
The issue was identified internally, and the recall was initiated on October 14, 2025.
