####Update September 11th:Scanfish Danmark A/S is expanding the recall of its fish frikadeller (meatballs) products due to the detection of Listeria monocytogenes bacteria. The expanded recall now includes Rema 1000 Mini Fish Frikadeller, Rema 1000 Large Fish Frikadeller, and Salling Frikadeller af Torsk & Salmon. These products are being recalled because of potential contamination with Listeria, which can cause severe illness in humans, particularly the elderly, pregnant women, and individuals with weakened immune systems.

Scanfish Danmark A/S is recalling its Salling Frikadeller af Torsk & Salmon due to the detection of Listeria monocytogenes bacteria in the product. The product is distributed in Føtex and Bilka stores nationwide and online at BilkaToGo in Denmark.
The recalled product is:
- Salling Meatballs of Cod & Salmon
- With a net weight of 340g.
- The batch carries a UPC of 5703370 622166
- A best-before date of 27.09.24.
The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration advises consumers to not consume the product and to return it to the store where it was purchased or to discard it.
