Sunset View Creamer LLC Raw Milk - Consumer alert due to Campylobacter Jejuni

New York State Department of Agriculture warned consumers not to consume unpasteurized raw milk from Sunset View Creamer LLC due to possible Campylobacter jejuni. The product has been distributed across Schuyler County and surrounding regions without any reported illnesses thus far.The brand's raw milk batch, bearing the UPC 675662483249, with a best before date of October 20, 2023 has been identified as the product under concern. An inspector from the Department of Agriculture and Markets discovered the possible contamination during a routine sample collection at the creamery on September 12, 2023. The milk sample tested positive for the harmful bacteria.
Upon receiving the initial test results, Sunset View Creamery was notified and immediately prohibited from selling the raw milk batch. A second round of testing on September 18, 2023, reaffirmed the presence of Campylobacter Jejuni.
All consumers who purchased raw milk from Sunset View Sunset View Creamery LLC located at 4970 County Road 14, Odessa, New York 14869 are urged not to consume this product.
