FDA announced the recall of Taylor Farms Carrot - Celery Sticks, Guacamole Tray, and Jicama Sticks refrigerated & ready to eat products by Taylor Farms Northwest, LLC due to the existence of a metal fragment, specifically a piece of metal about 3/4 inch, that was found in the retail packages. These products were distributed in Washington only.The recalled products are:
- Taylor Farms Guacamole Tray - Large, Refrigerated & Ready To Eat product, packaged in a plastic round container, net wt. 61 oz. The tray contains Cucumber, Baby Carrots, Jicama, Red Bell Pepper, Yellow Bell Pepper, and Blended Guacamole (Hass Avocados). UPC 30223 11373. Product quantity: 161 units. Sell By: 11/13/2022 | 11/14/2022 | 11/15/2022 | 11/16/2022 | 11/17/2022.
- Taylor Farms Carrot - Celery Sticks, Refrigerated & Ready To Eat product, packaged in a plastic clear clamshell container, net wt. 14 oz. UPC 330223-11478. Product quantity: 537 units. Sell By: 11/13/2022 | 11/14/2022 | 11/15/2022 | 11/16/2022 | 11/17/2022.
- Taylor Farms Jicama Sticks, Refrigerated & Ready To Eat product, packaged in a clear plastic clamshell container, net wt. 14 oz. UPC 30223 11248. Product quantity: 539 units. Sell By: 11/13/2022 | 11/14/2022 | 11/15/2022 | 11/16/2022 | 11/17/2022.
The recall was initiated on Nov 16, 2022.
Customers who have purchased products with metal fragments need to throw it out if necessary.
