3 months ago source recalls-rappels.canada.ca

Recall notice

British Columbia, Canada

Timothy Oyster has issued a recall for its Fresh Pacific Oysters due to the presence of a marine biotoxin that can cause Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning (PSP). The products have been distributed in British Columbia.

The recall affects three sizes of the product: 227g, 454g, and 907g, all with best before of June 18, 2024, and June 19, 2024. The UPC codes for the affected products are 7 77868 10227 5, 7 77868 10454 5, and 7 77868 10907 6, respectively.

The CFIA advises retailers not to use, sell, serve, or distribute the affected products.

If you or a loved one are harmed or experiencing any symptoms, it is important to report it. Reporting can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
