1 year ago source recalls-rappels.canada.ca

Eden Lake, R0B 0W0 Manitoba, Canada

Winkler's Meats Ltd. has issued a recall for its Winkler's Breakfast Sausage and Smoked Turkey Thighs due to the potential presence of extraneous material, specifically pieces of metal. The products have been distributed in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, and Ontario.

The recalled products include Winkler's Smoked Turkey Thighs, sold in variable sizes, bearing the lot codes 032231024 and 032331024 with a best before date of 2025 JA 17 and 2025 JA. The other product is Winkler's Breakfast Sausage, sold in 450g packages with the UPC 0 63278 00082 0, and the lot code 213331024 with a best before date of 2024-DE-27.

Do not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected products. This recall is linked to Sifto brand Hy·Grade Salt recalled due to pieces of metal, as the affected salt was used to make these recalled products.

In case you experience harm from extraneous materials, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve issues and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance.
