Wise Onion Rings recalled due to Undeclared Yellow

Wise Foods Inc. has initiated a voluntary recall of its Wise Onion Rings due to the presence of undeclared Yellow 5 and 6, Blue 1, and unapproved Red 3. The product was distributed in North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, South Carolina, and Florida.

AFFECTED PRODUCT

PRODUCT: Wise Onion Rings
- Packaged in 3.75 oz metalized film within cardboard cartons, with 14 bags per case.
- The affected products have the UPC code 041262288874
- And internal production number 4228887.
- Lot codes with expiration dates AUG0326, AUG1026, and AUG1726 are included
- Totaling 490 cases.

The issue was discovered internally, leading to a Class II recall initiated by the firm on May 28, 2026. The classification date was July 7, 2026.
