I ordered takeout and saw the waiter putting my order of bread in its container without using gloves. When I asked him to put gloves on, he pretended not to understand me. I persisted, and he threw out the bread, then told me they'd have to make it in back. I watched him pressing bread in back (Cuban place) and he still wasn't wearing gloves, and another waiter gave me a new order of bread about five minutes later. I think he may have put something in the bread to get me sick. I was perfectly fine but started getting terrible diarrhea about an hour after eating. I woke up this morning and had to run straight to the toilet. I ate ropa vieja and it's possible I got sick from that, but I've eaten that from this restaurant probably fifty times with no problems, which makes me think he did something to the bread to make me sick (throw it on the floor, spit in it, etc...). Either way, I'm never eating there again, which is a shame because it's the only good Cuban spot in San Diego. | Symptômes: Diarrhée, Nausée
