I bought a slice of combo pizza and chicken salad from costco kitchen. About a few mins after i took the first bite of the lettuce in salad, my throat had a strange discomfort. The salad was certaily warmer than the usual when i bought it. But never occurred to me it could be tainted. Its about 6 hours now, 2.50 am and i am awake with severe throat ache and feel sick. Going to monitor today to see if i need to go to a doctor. My work is certainly going to be affected.

I have a thorough hand washing regimen and closely monitor what i come in contact to. Its sad that i could be infected and fall sick, despite having a good personal hygiene.
