My four roommates and I went to eat at around noon on Sunday, 12/15. I had the Samy's burrito (pork), one had chicken tacos (?) something with chicken, the third had cheese quesadillas, and the fourth roomie had a ground beef combo meal. I saved half of my burrito and ate it later that night. Sunday night, I felt unusually refluxy and nauseous, but did not get sick. Fast forward to last night (12/17) at 3am and I am violently throwing up. I was up all night with intermittent diarrhea and vomiting. I thought that it might have been reflux related until I was in the bathroom with diarrhea and the roomie who ate the chicken comes running out of her room having to barf. Turns out she had initially gotten sick around 6am and the poor girl has been vomiting all day. My first thought was that it was maybe norovirus or something similar, but then I was alerted to the fact that other people have gotten sick after eating at teca on stange around the same time.
