I took my kids to Wendy's Friday evening (4/10 @ ~5pm) between activities/appointments. We hardly ever eat fast food, but were out of time and this was the easiest option to accommodate everyone. 3/4 of my boys had lemonade with their meal, all 3 of them are now showing symptoms of food poisoning. Friday night my 10yo told me "I think they put laxatives in this", while holding up his cup. My 2yo also had diarrhea earlier that night, after finishing his fries and drink. I chalked it up to FF not being great, and lemon aiding in bowel movements.. but then last night (Saturday, 4/11) my 2yo started vomiting in Target, then as we're leaving the store I get a text that my 6yo is throwing up at my in-laws house, and a few hours later my 10yo started getting sick as well. The three of them spent the whole night and part of the morning throwing up. They've each had diarrhea again also. It's now 2pm Sunday, 4/12 & My 6yo is still throwing up some, and my 10yo has a temp of 103⁰F. My oldest and I also had Wendy's Friday, but haven't gotten sick. My husband and my mother (who lives with us) haven't had any GI symptoms either. So I don't think it's viral? The only thing I can think of, that the 3 out of 7 of us in the house had in common, was the lemonade. Update Monday, 4/12: My 6yo was up, throwing up @6:40am. My 2yo also got up around that time, and after getting out of bed he had more diarrhea and also threw up. I got him cleaned up and back in bed, we put on a movie and he threw up again. After a while, he dozed off, then woke up maybe 30mins later and pooped himself again. 10yo has been lightheaded/dizzy today, but otherwise okay. Everyone is getting lots of fluid and rest! (Maybe too much because the excessive napping almost triggered a seizure for my 2yo.) Wendy's, 106 Portion Rd, Lake Ronkonkoma, NY 11779 | Symptômes: Nausée, Diarrhée, Vomissements, Douleur d'estomac, Fièvre, Crampes, Frissons
