Violent Illness After Burgers - A&W, Ottawa Ontario

9 years ago reported by user-dpnn7853

A&W, Bayshore Drive, Nepean, ON, Canada

100 Bayshore Drive, Ottawa, K2B 8C1 Ontario, Canada

On November 9th 2016, I hadn't had a chance to eat besides a banana in the morning. After work, around 6-7pm, I went to Bayshore shopping Mall and ordered two Mozza Burgers with extra sauce from A&W in the food court. Went home to eat them both. By 9pm, I had a terrible migraine and my stomach was distended and really hurt. I tried to go to sleep to see if the pain and migraine would go away. At 10:15pm, I woke with a very noisy stomach and had to run to the bathroom. I was drenched in sweat, had diarrea and threw up. I felt better after I threw up so I tried to go bacm to bed as I was exhausted. I was up every half an hour, throwing up and having diarrhea. At one point, I soiled myself in my pjs because my head was busy in the toilet throwing up. As disgusting as it was; it was coming out of me everywhere! I was extremely dehydrated so chugged juice and gatorade as I felt like I was going to faint, only to throw it all up 20mins later. The next day, I continued to throw up until the early afternoon. By mid afternoon, the throw up had stopped but I still had liquid diarrhea. I slowly drank gatorade, water, and salted crackers. I have never been so violently sick! It took me 72hrs before I was eating solid foods again. Never eating at A&W again!!!! | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Vomiting, Dehydration, Migraine, Sweating
