Suspected food poisoning. Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Chills, other: Other
Suspected source: Raw “triple washed” baby spinach or some old taco seasoning
Onset: 4 to 12 hours
Duration: 12 to 24 hours
Sick: Me
Additional information: We ate the spinach, Organics Brand, and I re- washed it on Sunday- no one was sick. On Monday, I ate a handful without re-washing, and symptoms came on suddenly ( also profuse sudden “runny nose.”
Old taco seasoning? Probably not but was the only other suspect ingredient. The seasoning is made by Thrive, but is was prepackaged in California- distributed by Better Living Brands PleasantonCA. I ate it at home, five days after it was purchased | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Chills
