Repeat Beef Illness Strikes - Aldi, Gaithersburg Maryland

I got a package of ground beef from Aldi's on august 23rd. It was set to expire on August 30th. We ate most of the beef but did not eat it after the 30th. My boyfriend and I both had horrible diarrhea and a fever. We were both nauseous. We thought we had a virus. It got worse after eating the meat. It usually started 3 hours or when we woke up. One time after eating the beef for dinner I woke up in the middle of the night (an hour after falling asleep) in excruciating pain and was in the bathroom for an hour with diarrhea. We threw it away after this and thought it was a bad batch. Well, two days ago my boyfriend picked up another package. He and I both got sick again. We had stomach pain, horrible diarrhea and felt feverish. This one started an hour after eating the meat and now it is the second day of this. This has been horrible and extremely inconvenient with a hectic work week. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Stomach Pain
