Steak Dinner Sparks Illness - Applebee's, Clive Iowa

On a Saturday evening, on 2/18/17, my wife and I went to eat at applebee's at my wife's urging. This was against my better judgment since I had a similar incident after eating an American Standard burger at applebee's in another town, only a month prior. I had hoped this was an isolated incident, but I could not have been more wrong. This time I ordered the Bourbon Street steak with potatoes, and as always well done. After the meal was over, we decided to shop for home decor at a store two minutes down the street. No sooner than we arrived I felt and could hear my stomach gurgling, and I literally felt I was about to mess my pants. The ensuing stomach cramps, diarrhea, loss of appetite, and nausea would continue over the next seven days and progress to chills, fever, and difficulty sleeping. It is now the eighth day, I'm writing this, the diarrhea has not stopped-- and needless to say, I will not be returning to any applebee's, not even to ask for a cup of water. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Fever, Cramps, Chills, Loss of Appetite
