Saturday I ordered a chicken bacon sandwich. The chicken was sickly looking but I was already home and starving. I ate it. Like an idiot. I woke up early Sunday morning with extreme stomach pains, vomiting, fever, and diarrhea. Waited to see if it would resolve on its own. It only worsened and I ended up in the hospital. CT imaging with contrast shows acute intestinal colotis. UA shows high wbc and blood in urine, and fecal test is positive for salmonella. chicken sandwich is literally the ONLY thing I’ve eaten differently than the rest of my family and I’m the only one sick. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain
