From eating at Arby's in Salina, KS. I had a few fries but didn't eat but a small handful they tasted odd, old. I continued visiting with my daughter then not even two hours later was vomiting and belching with severe stomach pain. I kept tasting the fries. My daughter ordered an Arby's Melt, Root beer and an apple pie which I did eat and drank only 1/2 of the pop. I keep feeling nauseous and have stomach pain. I called and the manager discounted me stating I would not get sick from a potato and that it couldn't have been because it takes 24 hours to develope symptoms. He refused to listen as I told him it can take far less than 24 hours. You’re right, you can absolutely get sick from potatoes. Because they are fried, the oil used to cook the potatoes could have been rancid. Acrylamide poisoning is a also possibility but probably not as likely.
