Four people had a Chinese New Year celebratory dinner starting at 7 PM on 8 Feb. One dish was eaten by only two of the four, a "hot pot" containing oysters and pork with vegetables. Approximately 4 hours after finishing our meal, the two people who ate from the "hot pot" began having severe, watery, non-bloody diarrhea, cramps, vomiting and malaise which lasted through the night and into today (9 Feb.). The symptoms are classic for V. parahaemolyticus found in affected oysters, especially those shucked and left at room temperature before insufficient cooking. The restaurant's health rating is "81". Buyer beware!! | Symptoms: Diarrhea
