Burger Causes Bacterial Infection - Carl's Jr, Clayton California

8 years ago reported by user-bfdv5298 business

Carl's Jr., Kirker Pass Road, Clayton, CA, United States

1530 Kirker Pass Road, Clayton, 94517 California, United States

Me and my girlfriend went to refinance our car at the Travis in Clayton shopping center. We didn't eat anything prior to going. This was about 145 pm on Saturday March 4 2017.i just wanted a quick bite to eat. I purchased a big cheeseburger for myself. My girlfriend ordered a western cheeseburger. I didn't get fries or anything just the two things. We took it home and ate there. After taking a few bites something didnt taste right, so I ditched it in the trash. A few hours later I went an visited a friend and talked. On the ride over my stomach was really upset and hurting. Maybe I had to use the rest room. I never felt pain and cramps that bad. I used the restroom at my friends and knew something was wrong. I went home and all that night I was using the restroom more than I usually do. I tried sleeping it off but it was not successful. I went to work Monday and Tuesday. Still the same symptoms so I called out Wednesday morning and took myself to urgent care at John muir. Mr adenaoyu was my Dr. He asked me questions and I was straight forward. He said it was not viral. But an infection. He stated longer than 48 hours and it's a bacterial infection. He examined my stomach and it was painful but helped with diagnosis. He prescribed me three medications and gave me a few days off to rest. Medication killed the infection. There is residual sensitivity after and my appetite hasn't come back. Not sure if I need to seek a lawyer for reimbursement. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Cramps
