Train Snack Causes Illness - Chex, Salt Lake City Utah

3 years ago reported by user-fqrmw838 business

Chex mix (blue bag), Amtrak, 600 West, Salt Lake City, Utah, USA

300 600 West, Salt Lake City, 84101 Utah, United States

I got the snack on 7/18 on my ride back from Utah (Amtrak). I saved it for (and then ate it during) my 15 minute break at work on 7/20 around 1am. I started feeling nauseous around 1:20am and all through my shift, all the way home (I'm currently typing this at 10:37am and only feel worse). I've had two fits of diarrhea and have puked once; the nausea is nonstop.
Side note: it wasn't supposed to expire until October this year (2022) and was unopened when I got it. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
