Now from eating a spicy southwest salad last nite my daughter and 2 kids and granddaughter left the salad on fireplace and the dog ate it and vomited all over, Spicy southwest salad or dressing 3 people and a dog. Ate salad last nite 3 year old woke up at 1 vomiting all over bed and floor. 5 yr old is still vomiting. Like 12 times and my daughter is so dehydrated diarrhea vomiting like 30 times going to emergency clinic stomach pains badSpicy Southwest Salad. Monday night, My daughter and I split it, both of us very seriously I'll and hospitalized Tuesday. My son had 2 small bites, said it was too spicy. He threw up once a few hours later. (Midnight Monday night/ early Tuesday morning) My dog licked the salad bowl clean, she threw up multiple times Tuesday. Ate the salad 6pm Monday night - symptoms started Tuesday morning upon waking up. I threw up more than 50 times and my daughter 30 times. Both had (have) diarrhea, which became bloody by the afternoon. Went to the ER and it took 3 nurses to find a vein. I needed 3 bags of IV fluids I was so dehydrated. Still can't eat anything but drinking water and ice chips. Still diarrhea and bad head ache. The salad was the only thing we ate that night. Lunch that day we had pizza at a friends house when 8 other people and none of them had any sickness or puking. It was definitely the salad. Fecal samples are being sent off to determine what illness it was (salmonella or ecoli etc). But the doctor said it was for sure food poisoning. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Nausea, Dehydration
