Barbacoa Burrito Illness - Chipotle Mexican Grill, Strongsville Ohio

6 years ago reported by user-zqdgh352 business

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Pearl Road, Strongsville, OH, USA

15029 Pearl Road, Strongsville, 44136 Ohio, United States

On December 14, I ordered my usual Barbacoa Burrito from Chipotle for lunch. I took the food home after about 15 minutes and it was luke-warm/cold.

About four-five hours later I began having symptoms of foul smelling gas, a lack of appetite for dinner, and feelings of weariness/nausea. Over the next few hours the nausea got worse, my temperature rose to over 100 degrees, and I vomited a good deal into my waste can (which was the remnants of Chipotle).

I spent the next day recovering and weary away from my family to avoid spreading germs holed up in my basement on strict orders of my wife. It was not until late yesterday evening (12-15) that my symptoms improved and I felt well enough to go about my normal routine. I am wary about eating foods that irritate my stomach and I am literally farting every 25 seconds (funny but true) with bouts of diarrhea.

I heard Chipotle was having issues with food outbreaks but I never thought it would happen to me as I am in great physical condition and never had issues with Chipotle in the 15 years I have been going there. This is the last straw and I will never go back to such a cess pit again. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Gas
