Expired Tuna Causes Illness - Clover Leaf Flaked White Tuna (Albacore in water), Ontario

Clover Leaf Flaked White Tuna (Albacore in water)

Ontario, Canada

Tues Jan 22 at about 5 pm I was in a poor mood so for dinner I just got a piece of cheese some Triscuits and opened a can of Clover Leaf Flaked White Tuna (Albacore in water) about 7pm I started with terrible gas and cramps, then diarrhea and nausea. I got really hot and broke out all over sweating. This lasted about a half hour and then I felt better. I've eaten the cheese before and since and had no problem. Haven't had another Triscuit yet but I'm pretty sure it was the tuna. The tuna's best before date was 2021 JL 17, other numbers on the can are ASL4CX L5FBABKAL M1GHAM | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Cramps, Gas, Sweating
