Old Coke Causes Illness - Coca Cola, Eugene Oregon

My uncle had drank a partial Coke that was opened in the fridge. We ate dinner at home which didn't effect anyone else. The only consumption different was the coke. It was tightly sealed and although it was flat he didn't notice anything odd about the flavor. He had body sweats, nausea and diarrhea most of the night. Could this be caused by this Coke. It may have been in the fridge 5 to 6 months. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Sweating
