Cheese Mold Causes Illness - Costco, Fort Myers Florida

5 hours ago reported by user-nytnf922 business

Costco Wholesale, Gulf Center Drive, Fort Myers, FL, USA

10088 Gulf Center Drive, Fort Myers, 33913 Florida, United States

Costco's mozellera (item 12229) in the same aisles with the frozen items but refrigerated, has been a source of stomach and other alarming physical ailments for me for quite sometime. I just happened to get confirmation of it yesterday after speaking with a doctor. Within 2 weeks of opening this cheese, a pink mold aggressively starts to cover the remaining cheese making me physically ill with food poisoning symptoms. I had to return the new block I bought and threw out the other half which is obviously a waste of food and money. The manufacturer of this cheese is also totally responsible as well as the retailer for selling cheese that may be coming from a contaminated facility and being consumed by unsuspecting consumers. I casually asked my brother who has been in produce for 35 years why this cheese is turning pink (all the time) and he said mold and bacteria. He said stop eating it immediately. The healthier I get the sicker I get when I buy food from Costco. It's full of salt, sugar, pathogens and chemicals (nitrites, etc... just read the ingredients of a costco rotisserie chicken and do your research). High prices and low quality commercially made toxic food that is not fit for anyone who cares about theirs and their families health. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Stomach Pain, Fever, Cramps, Headache
