Hot dog samples Husband and I eat ketogenic diets so don't eat many samples. We only tried the hot dog samples, which seemed like room temperature but still tasted good. That was at about 4:30pm on Friday February 21, 2020. Since we fasted the rest of the evening, and it was the only food for days that we had eaten that was the same, we think it must be the culprit. By 10:00 or so the same night I began to feel nauseated. I took some Mylanta and went to sleep. About 1:30 I woke with terrible gas pains but when using the toilet discovered that it was diarrhea. I was pale and shaking. I passed out on the floor right there. My husband heard my fall and found me as I was regaining myself. He had been suffering abdominal pains and profuse gas. I returned to bed and had strong chills plus a fever, though not checked by thermometer. I fell asleep and woke about 8:00am. Had headache, sore abdomen and sore neck. After rehydrating with just water and taking my morning pills with a string cheese I was nearly fine. Husband slept until 10:30am with same pain in abdomen and gas, but less. We did nothing that day and recovered by that night, except for my weakness through the next day too. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Fever, Other, Headache, Weakness, Chills, Stomach Pain, Gas, Shaking, Soreness
