Broccoli Causes Weeklong Illness - Costco, Durham North Carolina

1 year ago reported by user-mfkf8325 business

Costco Wholesale, North Pointe Drive, Durham, NC, USA

1510 North Pointe Drive, Durham, 27704 North Carolina, United States

Bought organic broccoli from the produce section, ate it and a few hours later was projectile vomiting, diarrhea, nausea. Not entirely sure it was from the broccoli, but that is the last thing I ate before I got sick. A week later I'm still having stomach issues. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting

I just got sick of if broccoli too last night. I ate some raw (only 2 Florettes) and then cooked with pasta (used same water to boil broccoli) in microwave. I think it was on the broccoli to start then it mixed in with water and got all over pasta. Sick as a dog all night. On toilet 3 hours straight! Then another 6 hours on and off! Cramps, diarrhea, nausea, headache. Every time I drink a little water this evening to stay hydrated the cramps and diarrhea come back! I am in Houston, Texas. And purchased it last Thursday at Randall's supermarket (owned by Safeway/Albertsons/Tom thumb)
